Your business faces many challenges daily and from time-to-time unforeseen problems can occur, our Essential Business Legal policy provides professional legal and financial support for a wide range of business-related legal disputes. You can also access free legal documentation and useful law guides and obtain legal advice from a qualified specialist.

Our Policy Includes

The insurer can help you overcome a range of common business problems, for example:

Expert legal advice quickly.

Help if you receive a notice of enquiry in to your tax or VAT returns.

If you have a dispute with an employee which escalated and cannot be resolved.

When a H&S inspection ends with a threat to prosecute your business.

A neighbouring business restricts access to your premises.

Your business has attracted bad publicity which could damage your reputation.

How It Works

Following your loss of third-party data or a breach of any privacy legislation worldwide (a Data Liability Event):

Notify the insurer about your claim as soon as possible. The insurers will acknowledge this by the next working day.

Within 5 working days, after receiving all the information required, the insurer will contact you directly.

If a representative is appointed by the insurers, they will try and resolve the dispute as quickly as possible.

Alternative Dispute Resolution, such as mediation will be provided if a resolution cannot be made quickly.
